Explanation of eBay Fees

Buyer protection fee !
4% of item price inc delivery plus 75p per item, this is the eBay
buyer protection fee introduced February 2025.
this buyer fee is applied to buyers and we have no input of say 
on it, it is charged to Buyers and is direct to eBay, under the veil 
of Buyer Protection although  in reality it is a Buyer charge by them.

Promoted item fee !
10% to 15% on the selling price inc delivery where an item is "promoted" 
applies on any item viewed saved or purchased by a buyer in the 30day
period prior to purchase.

Incurred selling fee !
estimated standard fee incurred to sellers in item sold over eBay.

as you can see the fees have to be incorporated into the eBay item and
as such purchase direct via the website can result in these fees being 
discounted.
